Avantek comes to us with a simple and ingenious product, which will solve the wireless lighting problem it bulky items.
The Avantek lamp subject of this review comes with high brightness LED (estimated service life of 80,000 hours) and powered by three AA batteries stylus (not included). The product is immediately taken care of and robust. The same packaging is made with great care, each compartment is protected by cardboard to alleviate the impact from transport.
Going back to the lamp, we see a small motion sensor placed in the middle that detects our presence with a 120° range of up to 3 meters away. This is handy if you want to brighten the environment is spacious an interesting feature of this sensor is that it also detects movements from behind a railing, obviously this must have fissures otherwise the sensor may not work.
The controls are very simple, a single switch lets you choose between 3 modes of use OFF, ON is always switched on AUTO automatic switching via motion sensor and off of the light after 15 seconds of inactivity, so we can use it also as a portable torch, it is held comfortably in the hand.
The product is also equipped with 2 comfortable double-sided adhesive (also effective I would say) that allow you to place the lamp in the most unexpected places. We have placed the product on top of a spiral staircase, and I must admit that it is really convenient, we found no detection problem (within 3 meters declared).
Aesthetically, I must admit that we are faced with an attractive and well-made product, the white color also provides good camouflage on light walls the size then does not clash even if you use it in a closet. We would have appreciated a command to also adjust the 15 seconds the sleep timer, but as always you cannot have everything.
