Canon renews its range of digital cameras with the introduction of four new models. The manufacturer proposes the new IXUS 140 and three models of the PowerShot A series (A3500 IS, A2600 and A1400), all united by the use of a new high-resolution sensor for 16 Mpixel.
The Canon IXUS 140 is characterized by its elegant design and reduced thickness. Available in four colors this model combines the 16-megapixel sensor with an 8x optical zoom 28mm wide-angle lens. Thanks to the ZoomPlus you can push the zoom up to 16x while limiting the deterioration of the quality of the images typical of digital zooms.
On this model you can appreciate, the presence of the Intelligent IS image stabilizer that recognizes the type of vibration and according to this select one of the six methods of stabilization available.
The Canon IXUS 140 is also equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity that allows you to connect the camera to an iOS or Android device. Always in the camera can wirelessly synchronize with the GPS system of the tablet and smartphone compatible. The IXUS 140 employs a screen 3-inch LCD features a dedicated button for video recording (up to 720p) and provides an ECO mode which increases the battery life.
The PowerShot A3500 IS shares many features with the IXUS 140 including the stabilizer Intelligent IS, support Wi-Fi and GPS synchronization with tablets and smartphones. Planned in four colors, the Canon PowerShot A3500 IS features a 3-inch LCD screen, the dedicated Movie button to record movies (up to 720p) and the aforementioned ECO mode at low power consumption.
The PowerShot A2600 has a similar aesthetic and technical approach to the model A3500 IS which is distinguished mainly by the absence of Wi-Fi features. 16-megapixel sensor, 28mm wide-angle 5x zoom (10x with ZoomPlus), 3-inch LCD screen, dedicated Movie button and ECO mode can also be found in this model. The Canon PowerShot A2600 IS Digital has a function analyzes the movements of the camera and if necessary intervene by changing exposure and shutter speed to improve the image quality.
Closes the new range the PowerShot A1400 where we find the 16-megapixel sensor, a 28mm wide-angle 5x zoom (10x with ZoomPlus), the movie button dedicated to video and the Digital IS. The Canon PowerShot A1400 is distinguished by its 2.7-inch LCD screen flanked by an optical viewfinder is ideal for lovers of traditional photography.
